In a renovated mill in Trnovica, a small village on the Rječina River, amid the roar of the waterfalls and the tranquility of the river, Whitehead Premium Ričina was created—an elegant, light yellow sage liqueur for complete comfort and enjoyment. Sage, whose Latin name salvia literally means “savior,” is one of the most sacred plants of our region. Ričina harnesses its powerful antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, also serving as an elixir for the throat, respiratory tract, and for calming inflammatory processes in the body. Prepared by macerating hand-picked aromatic sage leaves, Ričina features the pleasant, warm, yet unique aroma and taste of this coastal plant.
