Herb Brandy Grobničke Alpe, a pure domestic brandy, is made directly from the mash of selected grape varieties. In addition to its intoxicating and aromatic notes, it achieves a deeper flavor by aging in specially crafted oak barrels. Through this process, as the brandy takes on tannin from the barrels, it develops specific aromas of freshness and the wild beauty of the mountain range popularly known as the Grobnik Alps. Aging in oak barrels is not just a matter of taste, but also a tradition dating back to a time when wooden containers were the only way to store precious distillates. Over the years, the oak releases tannins that have mild anti-inflammatory properties, while the brandy itself retains the purity of the mountain air that has historically been a symbol of the strength of the Grobnik laborers.
